What is Dilithium?

Inspired by the crystalline power source from Star Trek, Dilithium (DLT) is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency built entirely from scratch in Go. No forks, no copy-paste — a blockchain engineered from first principles.

Proof of Work

Pure SHA-256 proof-of-work consensus. No staking, no delegation — security through computational energy.

25M

Fixed Supply

Hard-capped at 25 million DLT. No inflation, no minting beyond the cap. Scarcity by design.

Quantum-Safe Signatures

Every transaction signed with CRYSTALS-Dilithium Mode3 — the NIST post-quantum standard. 192-bit quantum-safe security.

Technical Specifications

Every parameter carefully chosen. No bloat, no unnecessary complexity.

Max Supply
25,000,000DLT

Hard-capped total supply. No inflation after all coins are mined.

Block Reward
50DLT

Initial mining reward per block, halving every 250,000 blocks.

Block Time
~60seconds

Dynamic difficulty adjustment targets one-minute block intervals.

Consensus
SHA-256PoW

Proof-of-work mining using the SHA-256 hashing algorithm.

Signing
DilithiumMode3

CRYSTALS-Dilithium post-quantum signatures — NIST standard, 192-bit quantum-safe security.

Network
P2PTCP

Decentralized peer-to-peer network with DNS seed discovery and UPnP on port 1701.

Get Started

From zero to mining in four steps. Download the binaries and go.

01

Download

Download pre-built binaries for your platform from GitHub Releases.

macOS (Apple Silicon)macOS (Intel)Linux x86_64Linux ARM64Windows x86_64
02

Create Wallet

Generate a quantum-safe wallet with a 24-word BIP39 recovery phrase. Use the CLI or the PWA wallet app at wallet.dilithiumcoin.com for a graphical interface. Write down your seed words — they are the only way to restore your wallet.

$./dilithium-cli init
Open Wallet App (PWA)
03

Run a Node or Start Mining

Run a standalone node, CPU mine, or GPU mine with NVIDIA CUDA for up to 100x faster hashing.

$./dilithium --port 1701 --api-port 8001
$./dilithium-miner --miner <your-address>
$./dilithium-gpu-miner --address <your-address>
Full docs: nodes, CPU mining, GPU mining, pools
04

Send DLT

Transfer Dilithium to any address on the network.

$./dilithium-cli send --to <address> --amount 10
